The SMART 50M is a versatile and sophisticated oil-in-water detector. The monitor is designed for high temperature and high-pressure sample measurements in marine and industrial applications, across multiple ranges of oil concentration.

The monitor has two versions available to suit different oil ranges – low and medium. Combined with proprietary measuring cell, autoclean capability and auto-zeroing functionality, this oil-in water detector has minimal maintenance requirements, producing highly accurate measurements consistently, as the measuring cell is kept free from fouling.

The oil-in-water detector uses a nephelometry based detection technique and sophisticated algorithms to detect oil content in the sample stream. 

An internal data recorder will log the following data – oil concentration, sample pressure, sample temperature, fault status alarm and run status.

The Smart 50M can provide the Oil Concentration value to a DCS or PLC using a 4-20mA output.
