Yinson Production Limited worked with Rivertrace to introduce a secondary produced water and slop water discharge monitoring system for the floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) John Agyekum Kufuor to meet MARPOL 73/78, MEPC.108(49), MEPC.139(53) standards and local environmental permits and laws.
By assessing the requirements of the vessel and both international and local regulatory requirements where the vessel is located off the coast of Ghana, Rivertrace were able to provide an oil in water monitoring system to the in situ Oil Discharge Monitoring technology to solve the challenge.
